Xiaomi Mi 4i does not have a metal frame like Mi 4, but it also feels very good holding in hand.
Mi 4i has the same 5'' OGS display as Mi 4, and is easy to operate with one hand, so it might seem a bit familiar. But it's thinner and lighter than Mi 4. And Mi 4i has a full black front panel, which gives it a more complete look when screen is turned off.
Unlike Mi 4, the front camera of Mi 4i has been moved beside the headphone.
The most outstanding feature of Mi 4i is actually its backcover. Compared with the grating backcover of Mi 4, that of Mi 4i is more skin friendly. Its unibody design, and the round radian edge makes it more comfortable to hold. The metal frame inside the backcover also makes the device more stable.
Mi 4i rear camera is placed at the up left coner like Mi Note, but the two-tone flash is put left to the camera, and to the camera's right is noise suppression mic.
At the bottom of the back is the classic Mi logo, and the speakerphone is right below the logo.
Like Mi 4, Mi 4i's SIM card slot is on the upper right side, with power button and volumes keys on the right side.
The bottom side of Mi 4i is quite simple, with only the USB cable port and a noice suppression mic.
