 After months of speculation and waiting, Chinese handset maker OnePlus has finally launched its latest handset +OnePlus 2

The smartphone features 

  • a full HD 5.5-inch IPS LCD In-Cell display 
  •  runs on #OxygenOS, based on the latest Android version Lollipop 5.1. 
  • OnePlus 2 is the first device to ship with OnePlus' own operating system, OxygenOS
  • This dual-sim smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC is the fastest processor on the market coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM 
  • It sports a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and dual LED flash and a 5MP front camara.
  • The has a 13MP rear camera with sensor pixel size of 1.3 microns, 35% larger than standard smartphone cameras
  • The phone packs a 3,300mAh that is approximately 10% bigger than the 3,100mAh battery of the original model. 
  • It also sports a reversible, USB Type-C connector. The highlight of the USB Type-C cable is that it's reversible so you don't need to check which side of the connector is up while inserting it. The Type-C port on the OnePlus 2 could allow file transfer speeds up to 10Gbps and allow the smartphone to charge faster. 
  • On the connectivity front, OnePlus 2 supports 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS.

Price & Availability 
  • The 64GB OnePlus 2 will be available for purchase with an invite starting August 11th for Rs 24,999 as we reported exclusively on Amazon
  • The phone comes in two variants -- 16GB and 64GB model just like the predecessor.
  • The 16GB #OnePlus2 with 3GB LPPDR4 RAM will be available later this year.
