Xiaomi has launched two new power banks, the 16,000mAh and 5,000mAh Mi power banks for the Indian market.

Xiaomi has launched two new power banks, the 16,000mAh and 5,000mAh Mi power banks for the Indian market. These will go on sale via Mi Store and the company is currently running a poll on its website to determine which power bank to put on sale first. The poll ends on June 2.

As far as the pricing of the two power banks are concerned, the 16,000mAh Mi power bank will be available for Rs 1,399 and the 5000mAh Mi power bank will be available for Rs 699. Like the previous power banks from Xiaomi, the new Mi power banks also sport an aluminum case.

On the specification front, the 16,000mAh power bank is a dual USB ports featuring a premium Li-ion battery cells encased in a sleek aluminum casing. The company guarantees that the device can fully charge a Redmi Note 4G 3.5 times; a iPhone 6 5 times; and a iPad mini 2.5 times.

On the other hand, the 5,000mAh power bank features a single USB port with a lithium-ion polymer battery cells intact in a slim 9.9mm aluminum case. The company states that the power bank has been made for day to day use and is the thinnest power bank made by them.
